The speedster is expected to have a top speed of up to 55 mph.
The Caterpillar Corporation of America has said the Caterpillar-designed C2X-C2A7 Speedster will be able to travel up to 30 miles per hour.
The C2x-C1 Speedster has a top speeds of up 50 mph.

The company has also announced that it is building a new, all-terrain vehicle that will be capable of reaching speeds up a staggering 40 miles per day.
The vehicle will be a truck with a top capacity of 20,000 gallons of fuel.
The C2-C3 Speedster is a hybrid version of the C1 Speeder, designed for fast-moving and challenging terrain.
The company said the new speedster will have a peak top speed around 55 mph, and it is designed to carry two adults and three children.
The new speeder will be the first fully autonomous vehicle to ever go on the road, according to the US Department of Defense.
The move comes after the U.S. Air Force recently released a video showing a Caterpillar speeder being built on a small truck.
The video shows the speeder traveling at speeds of between 40 and 55 mph with an acceleration of over 1,000 mph.
