A construction equipment monitoring device was destroyed on a construction site in Michigan.
A construction equipment technician was killed in a crash that occurred on the construction site of a construction company’s electrical installation, according to a spokesperson for the Michigan Department of Natural Resources.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, according the department.

According to the Michigan DNR, the electric construction crew was working on the new electric power system for a large water and sewer project when the accident occurred.
The crew was repairing a large pipe that runs underneath the construction area of a gas line.
The company was inspecting the new pipe at the time.
The company was responding to a report of a pipe leaking, and the worker’s attention was focused on a small pipe, the spokesperson said.
That pipe blew up, sending the entire crew and equipment to the ground.
