As Alabama’s construction industry continues to boom, there’s been a new round of interest in what it costs to build new homes in the state.
In addition to the new tax credits and other incentives that are expected to benefit homeowners, a new report from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) offers a look at the costs associated with new construction, as well as how those costs compare to other states.
“This study is not intended to provide an estimate of the total cost of a new construction project,” the AIA report states.
“Rather, it is intended to assist in understanding the costs and the advantages associated with building new homes.
It is the most comprehensive analysis of its kind available for this area.”
The AIA is the trade association for more than 500 architectural and engineering firms.
It surveyed more than 1,000 architects and engineers in March to determine the average cost of construction in each state.
It then created a list of the states with the lowest and highest cost of building.
The bottom of the list is the lowest, and the second-lowest is Alabama, which is ranked No. 15 on the list.
In addition to Alabama, the state with the highest cost is Virginia with an average cost per square foot of $2,636.
The highest cost was Georgia with an estimated $4,858.
The AIS analysis of the average costs for construction projects in the United States found that Georgia had the lowest cost per home, at $1,638, while Virginia had the highest at $3,890.
Alabama is the second highest cost-per-square-foot state, with an estimate for a home in the county at $2.9 million, according to the AIS study.
That includes the $1.2 million per square-foot for a new home.
Georgia has the highest median price of new homes at $6,721, according the AUS study.
Alabama, however, has the lowest median price, at just $2 for a single-family home.
The lowest median cost for new homes is found in Nevada, where a new-home median price is $3.1 million.
The average cost for a construction project in Alabama is $2 million, with the median value of the property at $400,000.
For a single family home, the median price per square feet is $1 million in Alabama and $1 in Nevada.
The average cost to complete a project in Georgia is $723,000, and for a two-family project, the average is $834,000 in Alabama.
For Alabama, median price includes the value of new home, median cost per month and monthly mortgage payments.
It excludes the cost to construct a home.
For Nevada, the value includes new home value, mortgage payments, and building materials.
For a home that is not a new one, the mortgage payment includes the cost for the first two years of the mortgage, and it also includes the mortgage interest rate, according this AIA study.
The median monthly payment in Alabama, Nevada and Georgia is for the two-year term, which ends when the mortgage is paid off.
In Georgia, the monthly payment ends when a new mortgage is approved.
The cost of buying a home is the sum of the costs of buying and selling a home, according a 2016 report by the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
For a house valued at $500,000 and a mortgage of $1 billion, the NAR report said, “a mortgage is not worth less than $1 to $2 billion.”
In the past, there has been a push to make new construction more affordable in Alabama by reducing taxes.
The state is among a handful of states that have reduced or eliminated their sales taxes for new construction.
Alabama also recently passed a law that allowed local governments to build in certain areas to boost economic development and job growth.
However, the AUSA study finds that many other states have not followed suit.
Alabama is one of a few states that still has a sales tax.
It also doesn’t have a sales-tax rate for new or existing homes, although it does levy property taxes for all structures that exceed $750,000 for a three-bedroom home.
For the AHA study, the authors looked at the total price of a property for new home construction.
The study assumes that a home will sell for $500 million, which includes the purchase price and any taxes.
That number is then divided by the number of bedrooms and bathrooms for each floor.
The result is the number that will be worth $1 for a $300,000 house.
To get an idea of what a typical new home is worth, the researchers used a valuation of $800,000 that was based on the average price for a typical home in Florida and Georgia.
